F-4 modeling stuff

Welcome to Scott’s modeling page. The most recent update was on 1 May, 2000 and includes new items to the  Previews & Reviews page.

One thing I have discovered while conversing with may of the membership of the society, was the rather large number of people who build models of the Phantom. Some of the folks are hugely talented and put my meager offerings to shame, but we all share a common interest in the F-4. Though not as widespread as used to be when the F-4 was still in active US service, one can always find an F-4 kit or accessories or decals in a well-stocked hobby shop.

On this page you will find reviews of F-4 related modeling stuff. You’ll also find photos of Phantom models built by the membership (in this I am counting on you to submit images of what you have built). We can share experiences at shows and other venues of what we have entered or seen in the way of F-4 models. A bit of the history and, hopefully, a database of  what has been released for the F-4 modeler.

As with any undertaking of this type, it is up to you to help us along. It is planned to update not only this page, but the much of the site on at least a monthly basis. That will give plenty of time for you to submit items for publication. This includes those of you who would like to see your products reviewed.
